Organised by the Hrishikesh’s Centre of Contemporary Dance, PRAYATNA FILM & DANCE FESTIVAL returns in its 8th year & promises to be a mesmerizing spectacle with a great line up of events spanning over 3 days. The theme of this year’s festival revolves around the changing trends in Kathak and will have the best of the Kathak fraternity from the country to be a part of the festival. The organizers have created platforms for young choreographers, along with several workshops & seminars during the festival.
The artiste lineup includes Dr. Anita Ratnam, Parimal Phadke, Aditi Mangaldas, Kala Chhaya Cultural Centre, Dr. Sunil Kothari, Hrishikesh’s Centre of Contemporary Dance, Maithili Bhupatkar, Mahesh Samat, Nikhil Ravi Parmar, Sunil Shanbag, Tejesh Kumar, Kamakshi Saxena and many more.
