Indian Cultural Heritage Foundation (ICHF) presents Shijith Nambiar and Parvathy Menon from Chennai, Dallas based Indique Dance Company and New York City’s Battery Dance will present Dallas dance enthusiasts with an Indo-American cultural journey focused on the Hindu principles of “Shakti” (strength) and “Bhakti” (devotion). Battery Dance present the Texas premiere of “The Durga Project,” an original, 23-minute work set to a score by Rajan & Sajan Mishra. The piece is paired with a Bharatanatyam solo by guest artist Unnath H.R. from India.
