And your own whacky characters!! A Dragon, an alien, an angel, a wolf, a bird, a dinosaur even!! Change your voice, mime, sing, dance and emote!! Make your own puppets and do your very own show!! Anurupa Roy started puppet theatre in school and the passion continued through her college years and finally became a full time career. She has diplomas in Puppet Theatre from the Dept of puppetry under Prof Michael Meschke at Dramatiska Institute (Institute for Film, Television, Radio and Theatre), Stockholm, Sweden and also from the Scoula Della Guaratelle in Naples, Italy. She runs Kat-Katha a puppet troupe in New Delhi which has produced several performances which have addressed gender issues, issues of conflict resolution and AIDS awareness.
