An over grown hero, who is trying ways to somehow pass the tenth standard to acquire permission from his father to get married. This seems to be the one line of the new movie 'Issac newton, son of Philippose. This story could have worked well a few years back, if it was packed all through with wits that worked big time. But this V Boss movie tries to make forced attempts on comedy, on which a half hardly works. And with Lal painfully trying ways to look younger and righter for the title role, this movie ends up as another routine fare that we are regular viewers too.
Lal is curiously titled as Issac Newton in the movie who is the only son of Philippose, the owner of Maalakha sound of Koottur. A single parent who has already agreed to his deceased wife that Issac will be provided with the best of the education, Philippose dreams of making his son an engineer. But even without having the finesse to pass a tenth exam the dream of Philippose stands void.
Issac is having a lady love in Annie, a teacher who is waiting for him. But philippose will only agree for the marriage if Issac Newton pass over the tenth standard hurdle. Together with the help of his close cronies Josutten and Jomon (Tini Tom and Dharamajan) who take close guard of the invigilators of the exams,
