Mammootty in Suveeran's 'Mandodari'

Suveeran, the director of the national award winning film Byari, will direct Mammootty in Mandodari, based on writer N S Madhavan's novel of the same name.
Suveeran is a well-known theatre activist and Byari was the first film made in the language, which is used in a small area in northern Kerala.
Mammootty's character is based on the mythological character, Raavanan.
Now, for all interested in filmi trivia, remember an earlier tussle for the title Raavanan, when Mammootty and Mohanlal fought a battle to play characters of the same name some years back? The result was that Mohanlal came out with his Ravanaprabhu and Mammootty's film was called Rakshasa Rajavu
