After that unexpected downer in 'Cassanovva', gifted director Roshan Andrews is back to his elements in the new movie 'Mumbai Police'. An emotional thriller, it's nothing like you've seen in Mollywood movie thus far. A plot-driven movie, it stands tall for its substance and most significantly, for the sparkling implementation of the written material by the director to create a product that's nothing short of brilliant.
Mumbai Police merge, friendship, love, lust and betrayal, resulting in a intoxicating cocktail that hits your mind. The movie has Prithviraj as Antony Mosses, ACP of Kochi who was assigned to crack the murder of his closest friend Aryan John Jacob(Jayasuriya), another ACP of Mattancherry. Aryan was hit by a bullet while he was delivering a speech after receiving a gallantry award. But as Antony unearthed the vital clues to the murder and the person behind the deed, he met with an accident which took much away from his memory. Now a reformed man after his hospitalization, Antony hardly realizes his close aids and relatives. His superior and his closest friend in the force, Farhan Aman (Rahman), the commissioner is but convinced that Antony can make another try to find out once again, what he had revealed before his disastrous injury
