Cast: Fahadh Faasil, Subhiksha
Direction: A V Sasidharan
Genre: Thriller
Story: The film follows the life of a blogger and his association with people who share his tastes.
There is a perennial, befuddled stare that plays on the face of Ajayan (Fahad Fazil) in the film Olipporu. The reason behind this blank face is mostly vague and Fahad's latest film reeks of vagueness. He has a slippery tongue which confuses certain sounds in Malayalam. Apart from this defect, which Ajayan overcomes at a later stage, nothing else seems human in Olipporu.
Ajayan constantly mumbles disconnected, incoherent statements, which might be the director's ploy at unravelling the quest of his character towards his own existence. There are apparently two men, one dead and another waiting to die tirelessly indulged in monologue and rarely dialogues.
Fahad moves around aimlessly, jabbering away and he does that even while lying in a critical state strapped in a labyrinth of tubes. Olipporu is a complete dampener even for its hidden, sober objectives.
