G S Visakh's 'Masala Republic' tells an investigative story in a humorous way. S I Sambhu (Indrajith) is a CI of Police. S I is his initial.
He is a member of the anti gunda squad. He is now attempting to bust an influential mafia group from North India. As part of the investigation, Sambhu appears in the disguise of a Jawan. The changes in Sambhu's life with the coming of Bengali Babu (Vinayakan) and channel reporter Shreya, (Aparna Nair) forms the plot of 'Masala Republic'.
Vijayakumar, Captain Raju, Vinay Fort, and Kani also include the cast list. T Sukumaran produces the movie under the banner of Chemmeen Cinemas. Arun K George has penned the script. Jassie Gift composes music for the lines of G S Visakh.
