Cast: Dulquer salmaan, Namitha Pramod, Unni MukundanDirection: Lal JoseGenre: DramaDuration: 2 hours 30 minutes
Story: The film is about two boys and a girl who grow up together and how boys are set apart by their circumstances and their goals
Review: Vikramadityan emanates an 'it has to be a good film' feeling which is often associated with certain sure-shot blockbusters. However, it turns out to be a case of broken promise, a half-hearted venture that was never intended for fruition. In his new film, Lal Jose has shed quite a lot of comic verve which he once proudly possessed. While assuming seriousness, he doesn't accomplish anything profound either.
It's about two boys and a girl growing up together in the same colony and how the boys give in to natural laws of attraction and fall for the same girl. This love affair in fact is played out as a subplot with prime attention reserved for the good-hearted, less harmful rivalry between the boys nourished by their parentage. It is a service to the good old classic village tales where the son of thief is pitted against the son of a cop. Dulquer plays Adithyan, who is constantly taunted for being the son of a thief, while his friend-cum-rival Vikram (Unni) is a foolproof, methodical guy who prides himself on his achievements. They aspire to become police officers and Namitha plays their love-interest.
