Story : A group of youngsters head to an abandoned factory, located in the outskirts of the city, to make a short film; however, the entire plan turns out to be a nightmare.
Movie Review : Ice Cream 2 is no ordinary film and if you pay close attention to the titles, the film is the product of Ram Gopal Varma's grand vision to create a 'New Telugu Film Industry'. While no one knows what exactly it is, it's only fair to say that RGV wants to drive home the point that you can make a film without any budget, heavy duty equipment, professional actors among several other things required for a feature film. And with Ice Cream 2, he has proved, yet again, that you don't need a script either to make a thriller.
The film focuses on a group of youngsters who are determined to prove that they can make a feature film. So, they head to an abandoned factory in the outskirts of the city to make a short film and right from the word go, they begin to panic that something untoward might happen to them. And their worst nightmare indeed comes true.
RGV employs a no-holds-barred approach to extract fear from the protagonists and almost all the actors come close to both reflecting the director's vision and getting on to your nerves at the same time.
