Cast: Nara Rohit, Vishakha Singh, Rao Ramesh, Posani Krishnamurali, Ahuti PrasadDirection: Krishna ChaitanyaGenre: ActionDuration: 2 hours 19 minutes
Story : A politician's dream of becoming a Central Minister comes crashing down with the arrival of a no-nonsense sub-inspector in his area. The rest of the story is about how their battle of egos changes their lives completely
Movie Review : For three decades, the politician had been dreaming for this moment: a berth in the central ministry, which is almost confirmed. But the dream crashes as a no-nonsense sub-inspector puts a spoke in the wheel. Member of Parliament (MP) Durgaprasad (Rao Ramesh) thrives by instilling fear in people. He occupies the Kolleru lake, manages the police and maintains an army of goondas to oppress the public. But things take a different turn when a new sub-inspector, Rana Pratap Jaidev (Nara Rohit), arrives on the scene.
Rana has more than one interest simultaneously. He's got an axe to grind against the SP of the district. It was because the SP once held him by the collar, he joins the police force to take revenge against him. Incidentally, Rana falls for SP's daughter Megha (Vishakha Singh).
It's obvious that through this film the director intends to convey the audience that they should stand up against the deeds of the politicians. Point taken. But why the routine stuff in the storyline? In his previous films, Nara Rohit could exhibit shades of his acting skills but not in this one.
