Director Mani Ratnam back to his forte with Okay Kanmani a romantic dram starring Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya menon, Music by AR.Rahman, Lyrics by Vairamuthu and Cinematography by P.C.Sreeram. This movie is made in both Tamil and Malayalam.
Initially Alia Bhatt and Pooja hegde were consider to play the female lead and Nithya Menen was finalized later. Prakash raj was playing an important role in the movie. Vijay TV Anchor Ramya who aslo making her big screen apperace with this movie.

A.R. Rahman has composed the original soundtrack and score for the film. A.R. Ameen son of A.R. Rahman is also singing in this album for the first time after hollywood film Couples Retreat (2009). The film's soundtrack album is expected to be released on first week of January 2015
