The film sets out to explore the relationships and personal lives of a group of bachelors, presenting the changing intimacy equations and morals of new-age youngsters.
Review: The journey in itself matters more than the destination, if all you want is a fun ride. This is true in the case of You Too Brutus - the second film of Roopesh Peethambaran - in which he seems to care about laughs first and plot next. The movie doesn't have much of a storyline and the moments are woven together by a motley group of characters, their romantic encounters, friendship and more.
Recording studio owner Abhi and his wife Aparna are not on good terms with his brother Hari, who opposes their relationship. Hari stays with three bachelors, each of whom have their separate amorous adventures. The insecurities, transformations and moments of self-realization - that find their way into each character's life as they grapple with romance - set the theme for the rest of the plot. The movie brims with light moments, witty one-liners and relationship situations that are relatable to most new-age youngsters and they keep the viewers in splits. The dialogues, laced with considerable mirth, are also impressive.
While all characters are well-etched and the screenplay gives each the deserving time to impress the audience, the one who takes the cake is Tovino
