Sashikanth Music: Santhosh Narayanan Madhavan has not been seen in Tamil screens for quite a long time and ‘Irudhi Suttru’ is touted as a comeback for this evergreen actor. The film is directed by Sudha Kongara an assistant of Maniratnam who debuted with the offbeat film ‘Drohi’ in 2010 which had Srikanth and Vishnu in the lead roles. The sports drama features Maddy as a boxing coach for which he beefed up his body as well as sported long hair. Newcomers Ritika Singh and Mumtaz Sorcar play the female leads in the character of boxers. Nasser, Radharavi and Kaali Venkat are others in the cast. Santhosh Naryanan scores the music, Sivakumar Vijayan handles the camera and Praveen KL the cuts. ‘Irudhi Suttru’ is jointly produced by C.V.Kumar and Sashikanth under the banners Thirukumaran Entertainment and Y Knot Studios respectively and presented by Varun Manian’s Radiance Media. The Hindi version titled ‘Salaa Khadoos’ is presented by Madhavan’s Tricolor Films and Rajkumar Hirani. Madhavan has not been seen in Tamil screens for quite a long time and ‘Irudhi Suttru’ is touted as a comeback for this evergreen actor.
