| TIRUPATI: The BJP which is spearheading a campaign against the State Government’s reported manoeuvres to `siphon off money’ from the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) coffers to fund its concept schools project has on Saturday conducted an opinion poll.
During the poll conducted at the busy Municipal Corporation Office junction lasting three hours from 10 AM, the BJP/BJYM activists contacted as many as 1,300 persons and elicited their opinion on the move to utilise the temple funds to finance the secular projects of the Government.
According to a press release, predictably 99 per cent of those contacted in connection with the poll have firmly expressed themselves against the move.
