| TIRUPATI: The Bharatiya Janata Party has asked the Government not to dabble with quota for the wards of ex-servicemen in educational institutions.
At a time when the entire country was celebrating ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’, the Congress Government’s decision will be detrimental to the interests of the families of soldiers and ex-servicemen, BJP publicity secretary and an ex-serviceman, Captain K.R.Raja Reddy, has said.
In a release, he flayed the proposal under question to provide sub-quota for sportspersons, ex-servicemen and NCC cadets under the regular quota for oppressed castes. He charged the Government with dividing soldiers on the basis of caste and religion.
