Trying to get rid of this Beautiful Indian Instrument, it was shipped from India and comes in the original custom Wooden coffin, a few of the brass bars set into black wax are broken, but it is fixable- i just done have the time to get it done. The Veena is a plucked stringed instrument from the subcontinent of India. It is South India and is used in traditional Carnatic music. It is played while the player is seated on the floor and features a large resonator. This Empire Saraswati Veena features a body made of jackwood, 24 frets made of brass fixed into wax and, seven strings on a slightly curved flat brass bar bridge. It can even be displayed in a home as artwork.
