Offering a job as lead manager of a wholesale ethnic foods company. The company is based out of Houston, TX and has opened a sales and distribution location in the New Jersey area. This will be the company's fourth location. The company primarily wholesales in Indian, British, African and Middle Eastern foods.

Job will entail the following tasks:

- Sales to customers in New Jersey and surrounding states

- Management of inventory, deliveries, and customer returns

- Operating accounting software, including preparing quotations, invoices, inventory, etc.

Job requires/recommends the following qualifications:

- Basic business skills, such as professional sales, problem solving, people management, etc.

- Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft applications, typing, accounting software, etc.

- Daily driving to customers in the area required. Some out of city/state travel required.

- Very detailed and deep product knowledge. Company will start with 150+ products.

- Ability to speak English well. Multi-lingual a plus, especially Spanish, Hindi and/or Urdu.

- A knowledge of the New Jersey/New York area, and the retail Indian, Pakistani, Middle Eastern, and African food stores in the area is a bonus.

Salary will start at $36,000/yr plus commission. Expected total salary should be at least $48,000 after few months of experience. Expected total salary should be at least $60,000 after one year of operations and growth. Office and warehouse will be located in the Elizabeth, NJ area.

Company has opened in mid-July and we are looking for someone now. Training and preliminary work will begin right away for two months.
