Perform inside and outside prospecting activities to identify qualified accounts for new customer generation.
Collaborate with manager to develop a creative plan to generate leads through prospecting multiple sources, cold calling, in-person visits, and telephone and email campaigns.
Establish and maintain good relationships with clients, networking groups, professional organizations and the community in order to develop new business.
Develop comprehensive sales presentation materials tailored to the needs of individual consumers.
Consistently close new business, complete all required sales reports including pipeline activity, identify prospects for bids and proposals.
Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all services offered by company and awareness of the competition, i.e. market share, pricing, services offered, etc.
Job Requirements / Minimum Qualifications:
Previous sales/customer service experience (at least 1-2 years) in a fast paced quota driven environment such as Account Executive, Sales Manager, Field Sales Representative, Direct Sales Manager, Branch Manager, Business Development Manager, etc.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic and ability to foster meaningful business relationships.
Ability to speak in front of people.
Ability to present creative methods for prospecting/generating and maintaining new business.
Proficiency using MS Office Suite, the Internet and Social Media.
Background in B2B Sales a plus.
Athletic/Greek/Student Government background a plus.
HS diploma required. Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred.
