Responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivering high quality web-based software
- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle which includes preparing accurate technical design documents using tools such as MS Visio, development using technologies such as ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, SQL Server, Crystal Reports, HTML and IIS on Windows platforms and unit testing
- Prepare technical design documents to be used by the development team and review and analyze business specifications and/or related documentation for the software products
- Lead application releases coordinating and supervising the software construction by developers on the team and participant in the planning and estimation of tasks and coordinate and supervise software construction done by junior level developers
- Coordinate the development process across teams using source control tools like Rational ClearCase, Rational ClearQuest and support the implementation of applications into production, identifying and resolving issues in the production environment and analyzing and resolve defects identified through the QA process
- Create builds for software releases and install them in the Quality Assurance environment for testing purposes and participate in functional, integration, migration, GUI, regression, performance ad hoc and user-acceptance testing
Qualifications:
- Three years of experience as a developer responsible for design and development of business applications using Object-Oriented methodologies, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server and other tools.
- Experience with the following technologies : Visual Studio .NET 2003, Web Services, IIS, TFS (Team Foundation Server)
- Able to create technical documentation and demonstrate understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited college/university
- Knowledge of database design, modeling and performance tuning
- Able to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment
- Excellent communication skills
