English is the most spoken Language globally. A good communication skill in English is important more than just to get through TOEFL and get admitted in study in America. Living in the United States of America requires you to speak English coherently, whether you are at school, job interview or at a bank. The volunteers are here to help you hone your English speaking ability and excel academically and professionally in your chosen field of interest.
The volunteers who are ready to train you are a group of dedicated people, experienced in their career, helpful, friendly and motivated to assist in your success.
English Language Program includes the following classes:
Pronunciation: Students will excel in how to pronounce English words accurately and correctly, neutralize and reduce native accent.
Grammar Correction: Students will excel in where to appropriately place the English words in a sentence and follow the English language rules and sentence structure.
Conversation and Listening Skills: Students will speak with English speaking natives to practice and polish their spoken English. Special attention will be given to confusing colloquial speech and college vernacular.
Presentation: Students will work on their public speaking ability, like class presentations, thesis dissertations. Focus will be on displaying confidence and boldness during presentations.
Interview/ Business: Students will work on their interview and interpersonal skills. Focus will be on responses to interview questions and interview manners.
Work related: Students will work on their communication skills at work place. Focus will be on conversations that could happen at workplace and the appropriate professional responses.
These courses are free but require a onetime registration fee of $75 to help us continue and meet the operational expenses for this program.
