Asian Indian male looking for temporary accommodation

I am about to start a permanent job in Columbus, and am looking for a temporary accommodation so as to get some time to finalize a more permanent one. I want to get familiarized with the area before signing long term rental lease or buying a residence. I am of Asian Indian ethnicity, currently have a residence and family in Cleveland, and will be commuting from/to Columbus on a weekly (Monday – Friday) basis. At this point I am just looking for a private bedroom, preferably a private bathroom, and access to kitchen. I know I can get all these for about $700 (monthly) at Extended Stay America, but I am looking for a something less expensive. I don’t smoke or drink, and am strict vegetarian.
