The idea of starting a local organization of Telugu speaking people in Northern Colorado was under consideration for about two to three years. After long deliberations, many agreed to start a Regional Telugu Organization,concentrating more in and around Boulder/Broomfield, named Telugu Association of Rockies Area (TARA). The sole purpose of this organization is to bring people ofTelugu speaking origin in and around the area under one hood and promote cultural,social, and community activities among them.
