We have an immediate employment need for 1 or 2 individuals who are fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Tamil for our short term project. The name of our company is Interviewing Service of America, Inc. and we have been in business since 1982. We are one of the largest and most diverse market research data collection agencies in the United States. The data we gather is used to assess public opinion, measure customer satisfaction, determine interest regarding products and services, and to help companies design effective advertising campaigns. The positions are called Data Collectors and they conduct assisted telephone surveys. This is not to be confused with telemarketers – we do not sell anything! The assignment would last approximately 1 week and the hours are 5 am – 9 am and the rate of pay is $9.50/hour. The days are Monday – Friday.

We have phone room locations in Van Nuys, Alhambra and Lancaster. The individual(s) could work out of one of these 3 locations.This particular project will be validation of surveys. This means that the individuals we will be calling already participated in the survey. What we would be doing is contacting those individuals to validate and verify that they actually participated in the survey either in person or on the phone.
