"Senior Core Java Developer" in Chicago, IL

Core Java Developer (J2SE), Spring Framework, Oracle (SQL), Apache or WebLogic, Tibco (or a comparable product like MQ) and multi-threading application development. They can have J2EE experience, as long as they have some Core Java. Financial (Exchange, Brokerage, Bank) industry experience is also a plus.

Senior Java Developer with strong application design and development experience

1. Strong analytical and technical design skills. Experience (5+ years) in creating detail technical specifications, class diagrams, sequence diagrams etc. Full life cycle project experience from requirements to rollout using RUP methodology.

2. Excellent hands-on (5+ years) core Java skills, including

• concurrent programming/multi-threaded applications

• complex backend systems

• Spring Framework

• publish-subscribe messaging (using TIBCO Rendezvous)

• Database schema design and performance implications

• strong in SQL, JDBC (including batching)

• Collections, Regular expressions

• Experience writing efficient, high-throughput Java code

• Experience with Complex Event Processing tools like Streambase will be a big plus.

3. Experience working with Oracle database.

4. Must have strong hands on design experience using object oriented paradigm, design patterns etc
