Dakshina presents Malavika Sarukkai in performance and film screening. The evening will feature a short Bharatanatyam performance and the film screening of the dance documentary THE UNSEEN SEQUENCE. Director Sumantra Ghosal will also be present. This film approaches the unique voice and contributions of Sarukkai to the field of dance. Both artists will be available for a discussion and reception following the film.
