FEET MAKE THE BEAT- Exploring rhythms of Bharatanatyam, Flamenco, Tap and Ballet presented by Jacques D'Amboise's National Dance Institute. This evening has been specially curated by the legendary ballet dancer, educator and founder of NDI, Jacques D'Amboise, bringing his deep interest in the way cultures express themselves through their dances. Artistic Director of Thresh, Preeti Vasudevan, will be performing a new solo classical work BOXED with two dynamic musicians, Roopa Mahadevan (vocals) and Rajna Swaminathan (mridangam) creating rhythmic interactions with the feet, percussions and voice.
