Recent Nandi award winner Balakrishna as Lord Sri Rama and Nayanatara as Sita brought life to the movie followed by huge star cast like ANR as Vaalmiki, Saikumar as Bharata, Srikant as Lakshmana, Dhara Singh as Hanuman and many more. Maestro Illayaraja, who had not scored music for a mythological film in his career, gave tunes for the first time to this film and all the songs were so melodious and all those who heard them are being very much impressed. There is a massive response to the audio of Sri Rama Rajyam which was released into the market recently. Almost all the Telugu households across the world trying to acquire the audio CDs! First time Adithya music launched 2GB memory card with pre-loaded audio songs. Visual effects by National award winner (for Magadheera) Kamal Kannan brings a visual grandeur to the film
