Kalyana Krishna Foundation welcomes you all to the 6TH KALYANA KRISHNA DANCE & MUSIC FESTIVAL 2011, an annual tribute to the legends of Indian classical dance, gurus Kalamandalam Krishnan Nair & Kalamandalam Kalyanikkuttyamma.
- Day One: December 9
5.30pm: Inaugural function and KKF Endowment Award presentation by Suresh (V. C. Kerala Kalamandalam). 2011 KKF Endowment Award is conferred to Balakrishna Marar, for his lifetime commitment in the field of performing arts (Edakka)
6pm to 8pm: Kathakali story DAKSHAYAGAM by Artists Radhika Varma, Sasikala S, Archa Gawri Varma, Renjini Suresh, Geetha Varma, and Radhika Ajayan, who will be accompanied by Kumari Varma & Shailaja Varma - vocal, Kalamandalam Radhakrishnan- Chenda and Kalamandalam Vineeth- Maddalam
- Day Two: December 10
6pm to 7pm: Carnatic music concert by Thamarakadu Govindan Namboodiri. He will be accompanied in violin by Tiruvizha Viju S. Anand, mridangam by Kottayam G. Santhosh Kumar and ghatam by Perugavu Sudhir
7:30pm to 8:30pm: Nangiyarkoothu KAMSAVADHAM by Kapila Venu
- Day Three: December 11
4.30pm to 6.30pm: Lecture Demonstration by Kalamandalam Balasubramanian & Margi Vijayan
Topic: Natyadharmi & Lokadharmi in Kathakali
6:30 pm to 7:30pm: Kathak by Jayanthi Eshwarputhi (disciple of Kumudini Lakhia & Pt. Birju Maharaj)
7.30 to 8.30pm: Mohiniyattam by Smitha Rajan
