The Sangati Center is organizing Classical Vocal Concert by Ujwal Nagar.
Twenty-one year old son of famous classical dancer and vocalist Smt. Urmila Nagar, Ujwal has grown up surrounded by music. He has been receiving training under Urmila Nagar, who first discovered his musical talent, and Ustad Bashir Khan of the Sikar Gharana. Whether slowly establishing the mood of a raag or aggressively exploring vocal taans and "Sargam," Ujwal's deep and beautiful voice has delighted audiences. In addition to being an exceptional vocalist, Ujwal is also an extremely talented and gifted Tabla player, learning from his brother Vishal Nagar. Ujwal has performed in India, Italy and Thailand.
