| Bihar is facing the brunt of massive flood. A breach in the Kosi river, also known as Sorrow of Bihar, has led to the flooding across the state.
Official sources have said that so far, 42 people have died and 20 lakh people have been affected in 14 districts of the state.
Three Indian Air Force helicopters continue to drop relief materials in the worst hit districts for the fifth successive day on Tuesday
