Two days after a huge fire broke out at the IOC fuel depot near here, the flames died down in four of the 11 storage tanks even as three more bodies were recovered from the site today, taking the toll to nine.
The unidentified bodies were spotted early on Saturday near the site in Sitapura industrial area, revealed Jaipur District Collector Kuldeep Ranka.
Two families of Pratapnagar colony have identified bodies of their relatives Kriparam Meena and Ramniwas Meena, who worked as chargemen with IOC.
The fire, which started on Thursday evening, died down in four of the 11 storage tanks in the wee hours but continued to rage in seven tanks which included three each of diesel and petrol, and one of kerosene, Chief Fire Officer Ishwar Lal Jat said.
It will probably take about one more day for the fire to extinguish completely.
