With former Haryana DGP SPS Rathore’s interim bail ending on Thursday, the Punjab and Haryana High Court has issued notice to the Haryana government, CBI and SPS Rathore on a PIL seeking a fresh probe in the Ruchika molestation case.
The PIL was filed by advocate Ranjan Lakhanpal who wants a reinvestigation into the role of Rathore and all those who helped him in the case. It also seeks investigation into the role played by Ruchika’s school.
Meanwhile Rathore’s wife and lawyer Abha Rathore argued in the court that the FIRs filed against him were not legal as the cases were examined by the High Court and the SC and had quashed them
