| Two arrested in Maharashtra for German Bakery blast

The Mumbai Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has arrested two people from the Marathawada region in connection with the blast that ripped through Pune's German Bakery on February 13 this year.
One of the accused was arrested from Aurangabad and has been identified as Himayat Baig. Baig is reportedly also wanted in a case related to the Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI).
The other person was arrested from Nashik and is identified as Bilal. The police have also claimed to have recovered explosives from the duo.
The two reportedly provided logistic support for the blast in Pune's favourite eating haunt which killed 17 people and injured at least 65.
Among those killed were an Italian, an Iranian and two Sudanese nationals.
Earlier on August 10, Maharashtra Home Minister R R Patil said the police have identified the culprits involved in the German Bakery blast
