| Prime Minister Manmohan Singh addressed an election rally at Arraria in Bihar on Saturday to campaign for Congress candidates for the assembly polls to begin next week.
This time, Congress has decided to go alone in Bihar without any allies.
As expected, the Prime Minister attacked the ruling JD(U)-BJP alliance and said Bihar is way behind in development despite all the funds from the Centre.
Manmohan accused Nitish Kumar government of not utilising the funds properly and pushing
Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi had already campaigned in the state while the party chief Sonia Gandhi is expected to visit the state soon.
Elections to the state would be held in six phases on October 21, 24, 28 and on November 1, 9 and 20.
