Describing discipline and patience as important ingredients in the success of one's life, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today asked the youth to inculcate these spirit to the optimum.
Addressing a contingent of NCC cadets who met him here last evening after participating in the Republic Day celebrations at New Delhi, the chief minister said controlling passion and resorting to restraint at the crucial junctures in one's life are hallmark of victory over the challenges.
“Young blood is like hot iron and can be molded in a form whatever one intends,” he said.
"There are many people, who want to exploit youth taking advantage of their adolescent age and misleading them through many ways," he said and advised the youth to be vigilant and prepared to negate all such attempts.
The chief minister said the other benchmark in the life of youth should be hard work to achieve their targets.
