DMK President and Chief Minister M Karunanidhi today parried questions on reports that 2G spectrum money was routed to the party's first family owned Kalaignar TV, which maintained it has no links with the scam.
Speaking to reporters here, he said Kalaignar TV management had already issued a clarification and any further queries were "mischievous."
On AIADMK chief Jayalalithaa's demand that his family be made co-accused in the case, he sarcastically remarked that such demands were being made since he had a family.
Stepping up her attack on DMK, Jayalalithaa demanded that Karunanidhi and his family be included as co-accused in the case to unearth the "whole truth" behind the scam. "Only then will the interests of justice be served."
"It is an exhibition of scientific corruption that one sees as the 2G spectrum scam investigation unfolds," she said in a statement, referring to transfer of funds by some firms owned by Asif Balwa, arrested in connection with the scam
