A petition seeking cancellation of bail granted to family members of former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, arrested in an alleged land scam case, was today moved in the High Court here.
Advocate Sirajin Basha, whose private complaint landed Yeddyurappa in jail, filed the petition praying for cancellation of bail granted by the Lokayukta court to two sons and the son-in-law of the former Chief Minister.
Basha in his application has submitted that Yeddyurappa's sons -- B Y Raghavendra, Lok Sabha member, B Y Vijendra and son-in-law R N Sohan Kumar and BJP MLA Hemachandra Sagar, faced similar allegations as Yeddyurappa, who was denied bail and sent to judicial custody till October 22 by a local court.
The petition has been listed for hearing tomorrow before Justice B V Pinto, who will also take up the bail plea by Yeddyurappa.
