| Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will address a rally in Delhi for the first time since taking charge of Bihar in 2005, as part of the centenary celebrations of the formation of the state.
Mr Kumar's address to a large gathering of people from Bihar in Delhi comes in the backdrop of talk of a Third Front following regional parties gaining importance post the dismal performance by national parties in the recently held assembly elections.
The centenary celebration of the formation of the state Bihar will see Mr Kumar felicitating over 10 people from the state who have excelled in their respective professional domains.
The rally is attracting attention because till now Nitish has restricted himself to state politics, and had avoided holding meetings outside the state.
