| Nepal plane crash: pilot was to meet parents for lunch

| Prabhu Sharan Pathak, the pilot captaining the aircraft that crashed into a Nepal cliff on Monday, had promised his parents that he would meet them for lunch.
Twenty one people were on board the plane when it crashed, including 13 Indians. Six passengers survived.
Mr Pathak had called his parents on Sunday and asked them to meet him in Pokhara as he wanted them to participate in a religious ceremony, according.
Mr Pathak had bought tickets for an ultra-light flight for his parents so that they could enjoy themselves till he returned from Jomsom. After that, he said, they were to wait for him at a restaurant.
Mr Pathak had completed his pilot's course from the United States 14 years ago.
