| After a black BMW hit a motorcycle in Ahmedabad, the driver abandoned the car and ran away. A security camera at a nearby mall, recorded the chilling aftermath, says the police.
Shivam Dave, 25, who was riding pillion on the motorcycle a little after midnight on Sunday, died in hospital. His friend, who was riding the bike, is in critical condition.
Police officers say the motorcycle was dragged for nearly 200 meters by the car driver, who they believe was speeding at 150 kilometres per hour. After the car hit a tree, the driver allegedly ran away.
The BMW is owned by a local doctor named Amit Shah, who says his driver was at the wheel, and is now missing.
The security camera footage shows the speeding BMW swerving suddenly, seconds after it hit the motorcycle, according to the police.
