| Priyanka Gandhi Vadra today dispensed her latest attack on Narendra Modi, the BJP's prime ministerial candidate, with a derision of his "RSVP" remark against her family, which leads the Congress.
At a rally recently, Mr Modi had said that the Congress is faithful to "an RSVP model - Rahul, Sonia, Vadra and Priyanka", the four members of the Gandhi family. (In Bihar rally, Narendra Modi's 'RSVP' jibe at the Gandhi family)
"ABCD, RSVP....this is what some parties say. They aren't addressing a primary school," said Priyanka, 42, to voters in Raebareli, where she is campaigning for her mother.
Priyanka Gandhi's older brother, Rahul, is Congress vice-president; her mother, Sonia, is party chief; her husband, Robert Vadra, has been accused of leveraging his connect to the party's First Family to accrue illicit and highly profitable land deals in Haryana, where the Congress is in power. Earlier this week, Priyanka for the first time acknowledged the controversy commissioned by her husband's real estate business. "My husband is being humiliated," she said to voters, vowing that the attacks will make her family stronger
