| 70 students in Kollam in Kerala have been hospitalized allegedly as the result of a gas leak from a state-run mining company, Kerala Minerals and Metals Limited (KMML).
16 students are in the intensive care unit, complaining of nausea and breathing problems.
Officials at the company accused of the gas leak say their factories were closed today, so they are being incorrectly blamed.
"The situation is being studied," the district collector told NDTV.
