| Arvind Kejriwal, the man who last governed Delhi, says he believes he can earn a second chance from the capital in the next election, which is likely to be held early next year.
"I have learnt my lesson, I will never resign again," joked Mr Kejriwal, who controversially quit as Chief Minister in February after a 49-day term in office when his anti-graft proposal was blocked by other parties.
Talking exclusively to NDTV, Mr Kejriwal, wearing his trademark white cap, said that his main political opponent in Delhi, the BJP, is constructing "an artificial battle" to make the Delhi election seem like a face-off between him and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. "They are trying to do fraud on the people of Delhi....Modi will not run the city, it will be handed over to somebody else," he said.

The BJP has declared that its campaign will not reveal a presumptive Chief Minister. Instead, the PM will ask the city to support him, a strategy that proved to be of exceptional worth in the recent state elections in Maharashtra and Haryana, where his party won historic results.
Mr Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is clear that he will serve as the face of its campaign.
In May, Mr Kejriwal ran against Mr Modi in the national election in Varanasi, a battle that ended predictably.
"He is a good orator," Mr Kejriwal said of the Prime Minister, "but there is no action." He also said that unlike other parties, his does not believe in picking petty fights.
