'Rebels Without a Cause':
'Rebels Without a Cause': Arun Jaitley Hits Out at Censor Board Members Who Quit
 INDIA , 17-January-2015  9:37:3 AM

Ms Samson had resigned as the head of the Censor Board amid a major row over the clearance granted to controversial film "MSG - The Messenger of God", starring Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, the chief of the religious sect Dera Sacha Sauda. She had also alleged "coercion, corruption and interference" in the functioning of the Board, adding that she "managed an organisation whose board didn't meet for nine months as there were no funds".

"I have not met or spoken to any Member of the Censor Board nor authorised anyone to do the same. It is the UPA appointed Central Censor Board which has since continued," Mr Jaitley said today.
