| Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Ananth Kumar are briefing the media on the outcomes of the Union Cabinet meeting held this morning.
Here are the highlights of what they have said:
A decision has been taken which would facilitate seamless transport between Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and Nepal (BBIN).
Cabinet has approved interest-free loans of Rs. 6000 crore to give some relief to the sugarcane industry. This will benefit sugarcane farmers.
Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved continued production of urea from three units in south India, which use naphtha as feedstock.
Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs decision on urea will ensure its availability to farmers in southern states during ensuing kharif season.
