| Nithari killings: UP govt transfers |
| In a strong message in the Nithari killings case, top police officer of Noida, SSP RKS Rathore has been transferred.

| Noida Circle Officer Dinesh Yadav has been suspended. The SSP of Noida RKS Rathore will be transferred. Rathore has also been mentioned in the Centre report as well. We had not taken any action because CBI was inquiring the case," said Amar Singh, Samajwadi Party Chief.
However the parents of some of the victims feel that his transfer was not required.
Tough action
The move comes just days after a high level Uttar Pradesh government report indicted him for inaction in the disappearance of a number of children in Nithari.
Rajiv Sabharwal will be the new SSP Noida. On Friday, circle officer of Nithari, Dinesh Yadav was transferred but now he has been suspended.
The CBI has already raided one police officer, a former sub inspector Simranjeet Kaur for her links with the main accused in the case Moninder Singh Pandher.
Kaur was one of the first six Noida policemen who were sacked in the case.
