| Bhattacharjee to address rally |
| West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee will be addressing a public rally at Haripal near Singur

| This comes a day after the Calcutta High Court quashed the state government's directive regarding imposition of Section 144 of the CrPC at Singur.
The rally, earlier scheduled to be held at Singur, was shifted outside the Singur PS area after the government refused Mamata Banerjee permission to hold her rally at the trouble zone.
Mamata will now address a meeting at Singur on Saturday.
Mamata, who has demanded the Chief Minister's resignation and appealed to the Tatas to move out of Singur, is meanwhile holding a public rally at Barasat today.
