| After a six month long gap the Thar Express is finally back on track.
The Thar Express, suspended since unprecedented rains in Rajasthan damaged railway tracks in 2006, left Jodhpur on Friday night with 71 passengers onboard.
The train connects Khokrapar in Pakistan's Sindh province to Munabao in Rajasthan.
The North Western Railway announced the resumption of the Thar Express a few days ago after custom and immigration formalities were complete.
