| A scheduled bus service on Tuesday to the Pakistani city of Lahore left Delhi surrounded by high security.
The move became necessary in the of wake Sunday's firebomb attack on Samjhauta express train in Haryana which travels up to the border with Pakistan.
The bus named Sada-e-Sarhad or Voice Across Borders contained 46 passengers and the mood on board was apprehensive, reports said.
"We are scared but we have to go back. Our visa does not permit us to stay any longer. We see heavy security around and are comforted to an extent. But the fear is always there," a traveller on the bus said.
But fear has not shaken the spirit of most passengers who carry with them happy memories of India.
"I am not scared, whatever has to happen will happen. Allah is watching, whatever is writtin in our destiny, I came via the bus and enjoyed India throughly," said Dr Omar.
The bus service was suspended in 2001 after gunmen attacked the Indian Parliament.
